Support

Help with Scriptorium, Scriptorium Plus and your account, and how to reach me.

Get in touch

Write to jacken.holland@gmail.com. Scriptorium is made by one person: I read every message and aim to reply within five business days. If something isn’t working, say which phone you have and what you were doing when it happened; a screenshot helps.

If an AI answer is wrong or troubling, tap Report this answer under it. The report comes to me with the answer, so I can see what went wrong.

Scriptorium Plus

Scriptorium Plus is the optional subscription for the AI: study guides, history, commentary, word studies, Ask and Go deeper, with a monthly AI allowance. Settings › Account shows how much is left this month and when it starts again. The Bible, the Hebrew and Greek, the sources, notes, journal, prayer and reading plans are free without it.

  • Free trial: new subscribers get two weeks free. Cancel before the trial ends and you aren’t charged.
  • Cancel or change plan on iPhone or iPad: Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions › Scriptorium Plus, or in the app, Settings › Account › Manage subscription.
  • Cancel or change plan on Android: the Google Play app › your profile › Payments and subscriptions › Subscriptions › Scriptorium Plus.
  • New phone, or Plus doesn’t show: sign in to Scriptorium with the same account, then open Settings › Account › Scriptorium Plus and tap Restore purchases.
  • Refunds: the store that billed you handles them. For Apple, go to reportaproblem.apple.com; for Google Play, open your order in Google Play’s order history.

Your account

You only need an account for the AI. Sign in with Apple, Google or a code sent to your email; there is no password to make or forget. If you sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, Scriptorium gets a private relay address, and that’s fine.

To delete your account: Settings › Account › Delete account. This removes your account and its AI usage from Scriptorium’s server. Your Bible, notes, journal, prayers and memory verses stay on your phone. A subscription is billed by the store and keeps renewing until you cancel it there, so cancel it first.

Your notes, journal and prayers

They stay on your phone, and in your own iCloud on iPhone and iPad or your Google backup on Android. They never need an account, and Scriptorium’s server never sees them unless you choose to take an entry to Ask. The privacy policy says exactly what goes where, and the terms cover the subscription.
